Voltage Stabilisation

How? Well the UK grid is typically supplied at quite a high level, usually around 245-volts. However, household appliances are now designed to operate within a European statutory range of between 207 & 253-volts. This means that many appliances in your home will actually be more efficient and use less electricity at a much lower voltage.
A voltage stabiliser reduces and stabilises the incoming voltage to your home to an optimum level, typically 220-volts, eliminating the over voltage which is costly and simply wastes energy.
Tests have shown that an A-rated fridge won’t be any less cold from a supply of just 220-volts, but can be as much as 17% more energy efficient. Traditional incandescent bulbs can be 15% more efficient and are likely to last longer with a stabilised voltage supply and even modern energy saving bulbs can be 10% more efficient.
