With electric vehicles finally entering the mainstream, R&M Green Energy Solutions are pleased to have entered into an exclusive agreement to supply and install smart electric vehicle charging points by world-leaders in this field, Green Motion.
The Green Motion ElecTreeCity Network One is a smart charging station that our renewable energy installers are now fitting to car parks throughout the UK as part of a growing network of EV charging points.
Housed in a pole or wall-mountable vandal-resistant box, the electric vehicle user accesses the Green Motion charging point with a smart RFID swipe-card, plugs in his car and then for security closes the lockable door over the active charge lead once again.
The Green Motion charging unit has fast or slow charge capability and can be fitted with different plug types to meet different international standards currently in use.
Each ElecTreeCity unit is on a network that enables simple billing of the electricity used back to that user’s account. On completion, the driver simply swipes his card again to stop the charging and to release the door lock, leaving him just needing to unplug and stow the charge lead before driving away.
